Sell Your Coins

We value and buy coins, medals and numismatic material, from a single coin to an entire collection. The valuation is free and places you under no obligation to sell.

How it works

1. Send us your list. Tell us what you have: for each coin, the state or ruler, the denomination, the year and, if you know it, the grade. A few photos help. You can use the form on this page or write to [email protected].
2. Receive the valuation. We reply with a free valuation and, if the material is of interest to us, an offer to buy.
3. Sell in person or by shipment. If you accept the offer, you bring the material to our shop in Verbania or our office in Milan, by appointment, or you send it to us.

Selling in person

Call +39 0323 502996, every day from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, and we will arrange an appointment in Verbania or Milan. Payment is immediate, on delivery of the material.

Selling by shipment

Always contact us by email or phone before shipping, so that we can make arrangements: we will also send you the form for receiving payment by bank transfer.

• Send it by insured post to: Numismatica Lago Maggiore S.p.A., via San Raffaele 1, 20121 Milano (MI), Italy.
• Use a padded envelope: seal the flap, sign it and cover it with clear adhesive tape.
• Enclose a photocopy of your identity card and your tax code (codice fiscale).
• If you prefer, we can arrange collection from your home by an insured courier.

Payment is made by bank transfer to your account within 24 hours of our receiving the shipment.

Does the valuation cost anything?

No. It is free and places you under no obligation to sell.

Do I have to send the coins to get a valuation?

No, the list is enough, ideally with a few photos. You bring or send the material only if you accept our offer.

When do I get paid?

In person, payment is immediate, on delivery. By shipment, by bank transfer within 24 hours of receipt.

What do I need in order to sell?

An identity document and your tax code (codice fiscale): in person you show them, by shipment you enclose a photocopy.
